Intarsia Circular Knitting Machine (MBI-S1342) by MBI Technologies

MBI Technology has developed a new Intarsia knitting machine for Intarsia with the maximum 42 color change in single course. This new Intarsia knitting machine is named MBI-S1342 and will be available in domestic and international market. MBI Technology has introduced this machine for classy and value added intarsia sweater to the global market

MBI's Intarsia knitting machine is used to knit a variety of Intarsia patterns. While typical Intarsia knitting machines in the market use 'flat bed knitting type', MBI's new Intarsia knitting machine uses a unique 'circular knitting type', which provides up to 42 different color expression in single course without any idle or dummy stitches.

The previous maximum color presentation in the current market was average 36 colors through flat knitting machines developed by SHIMASEIKI of Japan, STOLL of Germany, PROTTI of Italy, and STEIGER of Switzerland etc.

Using the world's first circular type and circular knitting machine structure for mass-production of knits, MBI-S1342 can coordinate on knitting body and rib border, continuous knitting, and small quantity batch production of any desired designs through computer design programs.

Other Unique Features of the machine:

Since MBI-S1342 uses circular type, its needle cylinders rotate reciprocally back and forth, which provides an excellent presentation of any detailed patterns such as vertical stripes, curves, and thin lines. Also, it has much reduced lead-time for changing the design and faster knitting time in order to manage urgent and small quantity batch production.

Using flat bed type for Intarsia knitting thickens and creates dummy stitch on both ends of the fabrics, requires the unnecessary floating yarn removal, causes low color resolution. However, MBI's new Intarsia knitting machine solves these problems and represents much more detailed design and colors by using circular type.

MBI-S1342 also runs with Easy Graphic Design System based on Windows, therefore anyone can easily create their own design, save them in USB devices, and load the design on the machine through its USB port. Once the design is loaded in the program, the machine will automatically begin the knitting for intarsia pattern.

In order to ensure the quality of their machines, MBI runs a mandatory test for more than 20 days before distributing the products to the customers.
