Oskar Fischer (FISCHER-POEGE) launched at the ITMA 2007 in Munich a revolutionary reed drawing-in machine.

This unique system offers reed densities never seen before, gentle reed drawing-in by means of a pneumatic nozzle, more security by means of a laser supported system and more comfort through an ergonomic working position

• Non-contact reed drawing-in:
  The new pneumatic model TYPHOOON! With this unique system the detection of the reed dents is effected without any contact by laser. Reed dent opening and thread drawing-in is done pneumatically.



• Reed density:
  The machine is suitable for conventional and profile reeds with a reed density up to 62 reed dents per cm or 152 reed dents per inch.



• Control System:
  The TYPHOOON is equipped with a control warn system. An electronic control unit indicates optically and acoustically if the machine missed a reed dent or if it stayed in the same gap.



• Ergonomic working position:
  The frame of the machine can be adjusted in the height; additionally the upper part can be removed and placed directly at or in the loom.



• Report programming:
  With the electronic unit it is possible to program repeats or to skip reed dents. By a simple push of a button it is possible to skip one or several reed dents forward or backward.



• Built-in memory:
  A built-in memory ensures that in case of power failure all data and the actual counter status remain preserved.



• Working direction:
  The standard working direction is from left to right, but if requested the working direction can be adjusted at the machine.
