Model: Versus Soft - Rotary Coating Machines The Versus Soft started life as a "reverse" rollcoater for soft garment and shoe leather. The machine may be re-equipped upon request with a "synchro" doctor blade for "millepunti" effect coating. The insertion of the leather is accomplished by a double spreading feed-in conveyor and by an introduction device with a specifically treated steel knife for the processing of large quantities of leather. The proper deposition and application of the pigment is further assured by utilising the new type "H" helicoidal rollers and by the specially configured throat between the feed conveyor, the pigment roller and the transport conveyor. The service life of the mechanical components, of the transport conveyor, of the pigment roller and of the feed-in device is safeguarded by the ABS system (an Incoma patent) which in the event of a leather jam automatically opens the above devices before overload conditions dangerous for the machine can occur . Technical Features: Spreading conveyors, mainly composed of two washable bells where leather is laid out and conveyed to the coating roller. The speed of the feeding conveyors is synchronized in relation to the speed of the rubber conveyor, and when necessary this synchronization can be modified to optimise the spread of the leather. Introduction device (patented): when the leather comes out from the spreading conveyors, it is guided by this introduction device which facilitates the feeding of the leather through the coating roller; supported at its ends by our very effective special compensating device (also patented), it grants a perfect alignment with the coating roller. A.B.S. (antiblock-system): safety system with adjustable regulation which can sense possible jamming of the leather between the coating roller and the conveyor belt. This system is particularly efficient and when activated it allows the simultaneous opening of the coating roller and the introduction device from the underneath conveyor belt, allowing the leather to proceed without the stopping of the coating roller and the conveyor belt. The normal working mode is then simply re-set by means of a push-button. Use also of helicoidal rollers type "H" which facilitate the introduction of soft leather in "reverse". Coating roller washing automatic system by means of compressed air water jet. The doctor blade (opening and closing pneumatically operated) is fixed on to the mobile structure of the coating roller. Its position can also be manually regulated, in order to vary the contact angle of the doctor blade with the coating roller.
