Model : DL5 - Continuous Dyeing Line For Carpet Yarns


The MCD Twin Multi Colour Dyer is used for the continuous Space Dyeing of carpet yarns. 

Continuous spun fibres and yarns with polyamide, polypropylene, polyester and wool or blends can be dyed on this machine. With the capacity to simultaneously dye up to 48 ends, the MCD allows a production up to 400 kgs/h.



Furthermore the SUPERBA Space Dyeing line uses up to 6 different colours and achieves spots ranging from 5mm to infinity for the Micro effects (Knit De Knit imitation), short and long space.



Thanks to a software for the colour spot definition, the user can create his own design on the yarns by means of a PC and simulate on the screen a pattern very close from the final result on the carpet.



Running Principle:

The MCD is combined to a DL5 steaming line to fasten the dyestuff on the yarn with a time up to 8 minutes. 



After the dyestuffs have been applied to the yarn, the main operating sequences are as follows :

* passing through a pre-fixing chamber.

* yarn coiling onto a continuous belt.

* dye fixing in a steaming environment for up to 8 minutes (polyester and polyester/wool yarns are processed in saturated steam at a temperature higher than 100°C).

* double-soak washing.

* drying, cooling and winding onto final package.
