Face-to-Face Velvet Weaving Machine




All of the Van de Wiele weaving machines are rapier weaving machines equipped with a microprocessor. Extended yarn rupture control allows to producewith a very high efficiency.

The face-to-face velvet weaving machines can be split up in two groups: the Velvet Tronic VTR23 for weaving dobby velvet and the Velvet Tronic VTR33 for weaving Jacquard velvet.



Characteristic:

The Velvet Tronic VTR23 is a double rapier velvet weaving machine and is mainly
characterised by :

20 to 30 % more production output

Dobbytronic in bottom position + quick connection system for the heddle frames

Leno devices driven from the front + improved access from back

More than 50% saving on false selvedges as there is no false selvedge on right
hand side and thanks to the controlled filling brakes

Balanced reed motion + no filling scissors fixed to it ==> low vibration
level

Optimized rapier guiding with aircushions + new and easy setting system ==>
low controlled temperature + long life time of the rapiers

New cutting system (globoïde) adapted for high speepile and ground beams with
electronic let-offd cutting + tension lever for Quick adjustment of the tension
on the rope

The machine can be equipped with 1, 2 or 3 pile beams and pile feeders and a
dobby machine with up to 10 pile, 6 ground, 4 edges or 8 pile, 8 ground, 4 edges
shafts to weave a big range of velvet qualities and designs.



A special long pile execution of the VTR23 allows weaving with a distance
between top and bottom bridge of 80mm. This way, a pile height of approximately
40mm per piece can be obtained. Typical applications of this velvet are
immitation of animal fur, paint rolls, distance fabrics.
