The Strahm HiPer™ Compact fulfils all purposes of a modern continuous
compacting calender for knitwear in open width



Features:

Programmable width control for the fabric

2 steamers in leveling frame and humidifier at the inlet

Tensionless feeding system from the leveling frame to the compacting unit

Compacting unit with heated smoothing roller and special felt belt

Improved gumming and selvedge drying system for printing preparation

No stenter frame treatment necessary for knitted fabrics made of cotton or
cotton blends

High production speed with excellent residual shrinkage due to improved
humidifying

Manual weft straightener within standard scope of delivery, upon request with
automatic unit

No longitudinal tension in compacting unit due to one big dimensioned compacting

Compact machine building leads to low wear and tear and thus low operating costs
