Hot Air Polymeriser For Pigment Printed Textiles

In the well known French textile printing company SOCIETY IMPRESSION d`HEM (SIH) recently a newly developed polymerize has successfully gone into production as the first one of its kind. This development by ZIMMER MASCHINENBAU KLAGENFURT is especially designed for the polymerization of printed pigments on textiles. This
new concept has proved to provide an optimum relationship of highest production output at lowest possible costs. It is a consequent continuation of the principle of hot air treatment of textiles in very small loops totally tensionless due to transportation on conveyor belts. Characteristically for Zimmers developments are also the exactly controllable results based on
electronic measuring devices. This machine sets new standards for the finishing of decoration goods up to a working width of 3200 mms.

The Installation :

An outstanding element of this
installation is the high quality rise of the fixation process and the total
evenness over the whole width. “Our expectations have been more than totally fulfilled says Mr. G. Segard, owner of the SIH company. “And this at continuous production 24 hours around the clock, with different cloth qualities, at production speed up to 100 m/min, with flying roll change, with minimum personnel capacity”. The installation is designed for a max. cloth width of 3200mmand a production speed of 100 m/min. The cloth feeding device with double unwinder, large dimensioned cloth compensator, electronic regulation-, guiding-
and drive-system technology are permitting a change of the cloth rolls without any machine stop.
