Digital Yarn Splice Strength Tester (Range 5 Kg.)

It is a simple instrument designed for measuring Retained Splice Strength (RSS)
of single/doubled yarn on the machine itself, so as to take corrective steps
immediately. The instrument reproduces single thread strength results with high
accuracy as those obtained from expensive & sophisticated single yarn
strength testers. Thus it can be also used as portable single yarn strength
tester upto 5 kg.

Operating Instruction:

Pull the yarn from the machine and fix it in the clamp, tight it by the knob.

The approximate yarn length is to be 50 cm.

Set the instrument to ‘0’ (zero) position.

Gradually pull the yarn straight perpendicular to the instrument without giving
any jerks and holding the instrument firmly with the other hand.

The instrument now shows the breaking strength of yarn in terms of gms. Take 2-3
readings for better results.
