Overflow Jet Dyer, Type JFO:

This dyeing apparatus is suitable for multiple use in dyeing of all kinds of
textile fibres and their blends as piece goods (web or knitted), in rope form or
loose material.

It can be used for the following work:

a) working as a jet

b) working with dyeing drum

c) working with beam & package dyeing unit

d) working with HT beaker



a) working as jet

Different jet diameters enable the treatment of materials having a width from
approx. 10 cm up to 1.5 metres. The jets are removable so that the material
being treated can be prepared completely outside of the machine. The fabric
transport, infinitely variable, is done by an attached reel.

After leaving the jet, the material is placed in a transport basket which avoids
a friction at the inner side of the chamber. The basket is only rotated by the
constant changing position of the out coming material.

Preparing and adding container are situated above the treating chamber. By the
use of externally added compressed air, liquor and chemicals can be added also
under pressure (above 100°C).

In the same way also some of the dye liquor can be taken back into the adding
container for measurements e.g. pH value or adding chemicals.

The swing door including glass panel and illumination enable to watch the whole
dye procedure. Several control and safety elements constantly check the existing
temperature and pressure in the treating chamber as well as in the heating
system. Both systems have an own pressure relief valve. All inner parts in
contact with dye liquor are made of acid resistant steel AISI 316.



b) working with dyeing drum

This accessory can be used for dyeing or washing of loose material or small
samples. The drum rotation is alternating in both directions. Small samples or
loose material are usually treated with the drum.

c) working with beam and bobbin dyeing unit

This is attached in the same place as the jet. The flow direction is
automatically reversed from outside to inside and vice versa. The dimensions of
the dye beam resp. the bobbin to be dyed are: width approx. 14 cm x 15 cm
diameter.

d) working with HT beaker

The holder for the 9 beakers, 200 ml each, is attached similar to the dyeing and
washing drum. The rotating direction of the holder including beakers is
alternating in both ways. Water, filled into the treating chamber is used as a
heating medium.
